Complete Enumeration Results of the 2023 Census of Agriculture - Edition 2: Estate Crops Individual Agricultural Holdings Bandung Regency

The agricultural sector has the potential to contribute significantly to the national economy. The fact that there is still high labor absorption in the agricultural sector, as well as quite large foreign exchange contributions from the rapidly growing agribusiness sector and the provision of raw materials for downstream industries, shows the resilience of the agricultural sector in facing the Covid-19 pandemic. Considering this situation, providing accurate and timely agricultural sector data is very important because it can help the government and stakeholders in planning and developing policies for both domestic interests and national development, so that it can be used as a reference. Comprehensive basic statistical data on the agricultural sector is obtained through the implementation of the Agricultural Census. In accordance with the provisions of Law Number 16 of 1997, the main task and responsibility for organizing the Agricultural Census is given to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023) was initiated to accommodate the variables needed to present very dynamic agricultural data. This aims to meet data needs at national and international levels, and is designed so that the results are in accordance with international standards, referring to the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) program known as the World Program for the Census of Agriculture (WCA) 2020. Therefore, ST2023 is expected to present internationally comparable data.
