Abstract

Imports in July 2024 reached USD 1.22 billion, an increase of 14.28 percent compared to June 2024.
Non-oil and gas exports in July 2024 amounted to USD 3.29 billion, rising by 11.07 percent compared to June 2024. Similarly, oil and gas exports increased by 9.13 percent.
Cumulatively, West Java's exports from January to July 2024 totaled USD 21.31 billion, a 0.88 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023. Non-oil and gas exports also reached USD 21.10 billion, rising by 0.77 percent.
The largest increase in non-oil and gas exports in July 2024 compared to June 2024 was in the category of knitted goods, which rose by USD 48.22 million, followed by electrical machinery and equipment, which increased by USD 46.94 million, and vehicles and their parts, which grew by USD 46.23 million.
Non-oil and gas imports in July 2024 reached USD 1.06 billion, a 22.13 percent increase compared to June 2024. Compared to July 2023, imports rose by 25.08 percent.
Oil and gas imports in July 2024 amounted to USD 153.99 million, a decrease of 20.85 percent compared to June 2024. Compared to July 2023, oil and gas imports declined by 45.40 percent.
