Abstract

In October 2024, Bandung Regency experienced deflation of 0.04 percent, with an year-todate (y-to-d) inflation rate of 0.87 percent.
In October 2024, the inflation rate was 0.04 percent, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) being 107.26.
Inflation occurred due to a increase in prices, indicated by the increasing in most expenditure group indices: the food, beverage, and tobacco group by 0.24 percent; the clothing and footwear by 0.09 percent; the household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 0.09 percent; and the personal care and other services by 0.29 percent.
The inflation rate within the calendar year (January 2024-October 2024) was
0.87 percent, and the year-on-year inflation rate (October 2024 compared to October 2023) was 1.86 percent.
