Latest Indicators for Bandung Regency March 2022 Edition

In general, the development of Bandung Regency during the period 2010 - 2021 shows a positive increase. From an economic perspective, Bandung Regency's economic growth rate continued to experience positive growth in the range of 5 to 6 percent in the 2010-2019 period, but then experienced a growth contraction of 1.87 percent in 2020. This was due to the Covid-19 pandemic condition that affected various aspects of life, including the economy. However, in 2021 the economic growth of Bandung Regency began to experience positive growth of 3.56%. From the social side, there was a decline in the rate of population growth as a result of good birth control. Then the poverty rate was reduced considerably from 9.30 (2010) to 5.94 (2019), but then increased again in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, HDI as an indicator of human development in Bandung Regency has been included in the "high" category since 2015 until now. The HDI of Bandung Regency is ranked as the 10th largest HDI of 27 Regencies/Cities in West Java. It is hoped that the strong foundation so far has become the capital for the development of a better Bandung Regency for the realization of an Awakening, Educational, Dynamic, Religious and Prosperous Bandung Regency community.
