Indonesian Mountains with Perpetual Snow

Did you know that Mount Jayawijaya, which is the highest mountain in Indonesia, with an altitude of 4,884 meters above sea level, has eternal snow. Puncak Jaya has the Carstensz glacier which is the only tropical glacier in Indonesia. Temperatures at the top of Jayawijaya can reach 0°C to -5°C during the day and -10°C or more at night.
