Indonesia's 2024 Corn Production Surplus

Maize production in 2024 in Indonesia has increased by 2.98 percent to 15.21 million tons compared to 2023 of 14.77 million tons. Corn production experienced a SURPLUS, so that the needs of consumption - both household and non-household consumption can be met by domestic production. Java is the island with the largest maize production in Indonesia at 7.89 million tons or equivalent to 51.86 percent of total national production.
