Human Development of Bandung Regency

“The Human Development Index (HDI) of Bandung Regency in 2024 reached 74.59, an increase of 0.56 points (0.76 percent) compared to the previous year (74.03).

The increase in the HDI of Bandung Regency in 2024 occurred in all dimensions, both longevity and healthy living, knowledge, and living standards experienced acceleration from the previous year.

In the dimension of longevity and healthy living, babies born in 2024 have the expectation to live up to 75.23 years. In the knowledge dimension, the expected years of schooling (HLS) of the population aged 7 years reached 12.74 years and the average years of schooling (RLS) of the population aged 25 years and over was 9.15 years. For the dimension of a decent standard of living as measured by the average real expenditure per capita per year (adjusted) in 2024 amounted to Rp 11.39 million rupiah.”
