Examining Economic Growth in West Java Tw III-2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the economic growth of West Java Province grew again, both q-to-q and y-on-y. However, ironically this growth is still below national economic growth. Quoting from the Official Statistics of BPS West Java Province No. 66/11/32/Th.XXIV, the main contributors to y-on-y growth in terms of business fields were Processing Industry, Transportation and Warehousing, and Construction while in terms of expenditure were Household Consumption, Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Net Exports.
